Simcheong (심청이) Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-09-28

These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using Simcheong (심청이), the AI voice conversation service provided by IntuneLabs (주식회사 인튠랩스, the "Company"), and the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Company and users. The Korean version of these terms prevails.

1. The Service

Together with participating institutions, the Company provides the features below. Some may not be available depending on your institution and app settings.

  • AI voice calls (including check-in calls scheduled by your institution) and AI chat (including photo, PDF and text attachments)
  • Conversation history, summaries and memory of earlier conversations
  • Mood records, medication schedules and dose logs, medicine photo guidance, and the mind-health report
  • Meditation, breathing and sleep content, picture making, and step display
  • Family connections

2. What an AI service can and cannot do

  • Simcheong's conversation partner is an AI, not a person. Its replies, summaries and alerts may contain errors, omissions or delays.
  • The Service does not replace medical diagnosis, treatment or prescription, psychological counselling, human care or emergency response. Medication guidance tells you about the medicines you registered; it does not change doses or recommend new medicines.
  • Institution staff do not review every conversation in real time, and the absence of an alert does not mean you are safe.
  • In an emergency, do not wait for the app — call 119, 112 or another emergency service straight away.

3. Eligibility and institution participation

  • The Service is for adults aged 18 and over.
  • Installing the app, creating an account or accepting these terms does not by itself give you access; a participating institution must approve you and you must give the required consents described in the Privacy Policy. An institution helping you sign up cannot consent on your behalf.
  • When your participation in an institution ends, some or all of the institution-linked service may become unavailable; the Company will tell you in advance. You can delete your account at any time.

4. Posting and changing these terms

  • The Company posts these terms in the app and on this website.
  • The Company will announce changes at least 7 days before they take effect, or at least 30 days before (with individual notice) for changes that are unfavourable to users or material.
  • If you do not agree to the changed terms, you can stop using the Service and delete your account.

5. Accounts and user obligations

  • You sign in with a code sent to your email, a Google account or, on iPhone only, an Apple account. You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
  • You must not share your account or use someone else's information.
  • You must not access, copy or extract the Service without authorisation or deliberately disrupt its operation.
  • Breaching the law or these terms may lead to restrictions on your use. Except in urgent cases, the Company will tell you the reason and how to put it right in advance, and you can object by emailing support@intunelabs.ai.

6. Fees

The Simcheong app is free and has no in-app purchases or subscriptions. Creating an account or accepting these terms does not create any charge.

If paid features are introduced, the Company will tell you the price, term and payment, cancellation and refund conditions in advance and obtain your agreement.

7. Conversation records and call recording

  • To provide the Service, the Company stores transcripts, AI summaries and memory.
  • Calls are recorded only if you agree to "Call voice recording and storage", and recordings are deleted automatically after 90 days. If you turn off "Store voice recordings" or delete your account, stored recordings are deleted without delay.
  • With your consent to provision, your institution can review call records and conversations, and play recordings back if you agreed to recording.
  • The Privacy Policy and the Account Deletion page describe in detail what is processed, how long it is kept and how to delete it.

8. Family connections

A family connection is made only when you invite a family member and they accept. Connected family can see information only to the extent you turn on "Share with family", and you can turn sharing off or disconnect at any time. Family members do not automatically gain rights over your data.

9. Changes to and suspension of the Service

The Company may change or suspend features to improve the Service or for operational reasons, and will announce changes that matter to users in advance. In unavoidable cases such as outages, notice may be given afterwards.

10. Ending the agreement and deleting your account

You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your account under My space › Delete account in the app. The Account Deletion page explains what is deleted and what remains.

11. Limitation of liability

  • The Company is not liable for damage caused by events outside its control, such as natural disasters or network failures, or by the user's own fault.
  • The Company is not relieved of responsibility merely because it uses AI or outside providers, and liability that cannot be limited by law and users' statutory rights remain unaffected.

12. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The Company and users will first try in good faith to resolve any dispute through consultation; any lawsuit is brought before the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act and other applicable laws.
